This month, brush up on your kidney health and how to keep your organs healthy and functioning.<\/p>\n Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information between the brain and body. The disease is thought to affect more than 2.3 million people around the world but is still difficult to diagnose. You can learn more about MS and ways to raise awareness all March long through the National MS<\/a> Society.<\/p>\n Since its founding in 1881 the American Red Cross is the nation’s premier emergency response organization. Today the American Red Cross offers services in community services that help the needy; support for military members; lifesaving blood and blood products; programs that promote health and safety; domestic disaster relief; and international relief and development programs.<\/p>\n Yep, that\u2019s right. There\u2019s a whole week devoted to sleep awareness. Supported by the National Sleep Foundation, the week is to advocate the education, research and understanding of sleep and sleep disorders.
