Clean Beaches Week is held every year from July 1-7. The Clean Beach Coalition calls it the \u201cEarth Day\u201d for beaches. The mission is to raise awareness and education about the importance of clean beaches, and to celebrate the health and lifestyle benefits of beaches in our communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since it\u2019s founding in 2003, Clean Beaches Week has drawn a huge amount of public support. In 2007, by unanimous consent, both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives passed resolutions enacting the week. <\/span><\/p>\n
