Breast Cancer Network of Strength

Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization™, Indiana Affiliate was founded in 1991 and incorporated in Indiana in 1995 as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) not for profit organization as recognized by the IRS. Most of Y-ME's funding is obtained from the proceeds of the annual survivors’ fashion show, an event attended by over 1,100 people that features breast cancer survivors as the models. Y-ME Indiana does not receive government funding and is not a United Way allocation funded agency. Individuals may, however, designate Y-ME Indiana as a recipient of United Way contributions. Y-ME Indiana provides the following services free of charge: •24/7 Peer Counseling Hotline answered by trained breast cancer survivors •“Open Door” public meetings about breast cancer topics •Newsletters The Ribbon and online PinkLetter •Informational resources for health care providers •Public resource library
