Animal-Kind International

Animal-Kind International raises money for our Partner Animal Welfare Organizations in resource-poor countries: Uganda, Ghana, Namibia, Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Armenia, Honduras, and Jamaica. Our Partners receive funding on a regular basis so they can focus on their missions, helping animals. We also support a grant program, the Africa-Based Animal Welfare Organization Grant Program. Grantees receive one-time funding based on submission of a successful proposal (with the possibility of receiving funding in subsequent years, also based on a successful proposal). Through our "Friendly Audits," we provide technical and administrative support to target animal welfare organizations in Africa so they can be stronger voices for animals in Africa. Our supported organizations run animal shelters that rescue, rehabilitate, care for, and adopt out cats and dogs; support humane education programs; conduct community vet clinics and spay/neuter clinics; work in donkey and horse rescue and care; and advocate for animals with government and community leaders. 100% of donations that we receive go directly to our AKI Partner Organizations and our Grant Program. We track and report on how your donations are used.
