The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) was the first humane society to be built in North America and is, today, one of the biggest on the planet. Our association was established by Henry Bergh in 1866 on the conviction that creatures are qualified for kind and aware treatment on account of people, and must be ensured under the law.
