Community Lutheran Ministry

Community Lutheran Ministry’s mission is to provide a safe environment for Christian learning, emotional, growth and healthy physical development. We’re located in the northeast area of Rochester, New York. This area has the highest rates of hunger, poverty, unemployment and school dropout rates in the Greater Rochester Area. Families in our community are confronted with many crises like living in public housing, keeping up with rent, utility payments, providing food, clothing, transportation, making provisions for children after school and during summer so that they are not subject to the negative forces of street life; the lack of knowledge of knowing how to care for infants and toddlers, and having a home environment not conducive to learning as well and knowing God and His saving grace in Jesus Christ.
