About Friend for Life Cancer Support Network
Friend for Life provides one-on-one emotional and psychosocial support to newly diagnosed cancer patients and their loved ones by pairing them with a trained cancer survivor with the same type of cancer and similar course of treatment as well as gender and age where possible. Patients and survivors communicate primarily over the phone but some also interact through e-mail and/or in person.
