The mission of the Jordan Porco Foundation is to prevent suicide, promote mental health, and create a message of hope for young adults. Our signature program Fresh Check Day is an engaging and uplifting mental health promotion event for colleges that features interactive booths, a festive social atmosphere, and exciting prizes and giveaways.(freshcheckday.com) Our Check In program takes the best of Fresh Check Day and makes it available for schools, communities, and workplaces outside of the higher ed sector. 4 What's Next is a primary prevention program that builds psychological resiliency in students by giving them the tools to handle stress and distress now and in their future. (4whatsnext.org) Our Nine out of Ten Ambassadors are college students from around the country that provide a hopeful voce for suicide prevention and serve as a rotating student advisory committee to the Jordan Porco Foundation.
