Preserve Manchaug Pond! That is the mission of the Manchaug Pond Foundation, a 501c3 public charity advocating for the welfare and correct use of this 380 acre and its watershed as a beautiful community natural resource, reservoir and recreational area.
Our issues and current action items: responsible dam ownership and preservation of the waterlevel, enhancement of the water quality, weed control through natural means, promotion of safe boating, land conservation, protection of fisheries and wildlife corridors, environmental education, and more!
