About New York Community League
New York Community League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated in providing assistance to immigrant families, especially the underrepresented Chinese families in Staten Island. We advocate for Heath, Education, and Transportation in Staten Island and other underrepresented communities NYC. We currently offer free language classes (ESL, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese), art classes, and family literacy classes. We also host career workshops, and organize public education webinars on immigrant resources, housing, medicare, tax filing, police engagement, school enrollment, human rights, mental health, vaccination, and other COVID-related topics, in collaboration with various levels of governments and community organizations.
