About Reidsville Rescue Squad
We are a non-profit volunteer agency in Rockingham County. Our agency depends on donations through the public and United Way. Our rescue squad responds to emergency & non emergency medical calls, including rescues in motor vehicle accidents, high/low angle rescues, water emergencies, large animal rescues, trench and structural collapses. We are the back up for the Rockingham County EMS service and provide Basic Life Support services. Our county population is approximately 97,000 for a land area of 566 sq. miles. Our primary district is 1/3 of the county, but responds mutual aid at any time for the other 2/3rds.
