Folks, We Really Appreciate All Donations during this time of Rebuilding- finally, there is light at the end of the tunnel, as we are now on payment plans with everyone we owe! Please remember that we had ZERO debt when these crimes were committed, and were on track to have a reserve account- that would have helped us to receive grants to build our new shelter. Instead, we are now in debt, working hard to get back to our former status, and move forward to our former plan. We are in compliance with everything, but boy, it's so challenging. Payroll is coming up Monday for our incredibly hardworking staff, who are still working a skeleton schedule due to the impact of the crimes committed by Jennifer Carrasco, now convicted of felony embezzlement, forgery, and tampering with evidence (the destruction of years of data and computer programs). Volunteer help is crucial, but so are donations, even in small amounts by many people will help us get past this point, and back to sustainability, to save thousands of precious dogs and cats in the years to come.
