Tennessee Respite Coalition
Nashville-based non-profit Tennessee Respite Coalition spends National Family Caregivers Month honoring individuals across the state who are full time family caregivers. We celebrate these individuals through Caregivers Appreciation events across the state. The TRC has hosted similar events each November for the last 13 years. Previous events have consisted of chair massages, nail and hair services, brunch food, door prizes, and educational presentations. Caregivers who attend get to spend some time taking care of themselves and enjoy a relaxing environment. Respite is the gift of time for family caregivers and these events help remind caregivers to take the time to care for themselves.
