November 11 is Veterans Day, and we take the time to honor those who have served in the military and thank them for their dedication to their country. We can also acknowledge companies that hire from the military community and offer programs to support veterans and their families.

Target

As a member of the Veteran Jobs Mission, Target has pledged to hire more U.S. military veterans. They’ve already hired 300,000 veterans, with a goal to hire 1 million U.S. military veterans by 2020. Starbucks has announced they’re committed to hiring 25,000 veterans and military spouses by 2025, and have hired over 12,000 veterans since 2013.
