We have put together the best Old Navy saving tips to let you start saving better today.

  1. Check here for coupons before you check out

Old Navy is very coupon friendly. To find all the available coupons in one place, check here before you pay. To use a coupon, all you need is to copy the coupon code and insert it into the promotions and rewards codes box on the checkout page.

  1. Stack 3 coupons to maximize discounts

Stack up to 3 coupons per online purchase. Stacking is not possible with every coupon. You cannot combine Super Cash with another coupon. The best way to understand the limits of your coupon is to read the terms and conditions. The fastest way to check is to enter the coupon code online and see if it will stack.

  1. Get the military discount in-store

If you are an active, reserve, or retired member of the military, you will get a 10% off discount in-store. This discount is available for military family members. It is only available in-store because Old Navy has not partnered with a third-party identity verification service. The military discount is not well advertised. To learn the latest policy, check in-store or contact a customer service representative online.

  1. Sign up to the newsletter for 20% off

Signing up for the newsletter will let you stay up-to-date with the latest sales and special promotions. One of the biggest reasons to sign up is Old Navy’s One Day Deals. These one-day-only sales offer big discounts on certain items or special prices.

Signing up gives you a boost. As a welcome, you get a 20% off coupon just for signing up.

  1. Sign up for text alerts for $5 off $35

Get another coupon if you subscribe to their text alerts. The coupon for signing up for text alerts is $5 off $35.

  1. Become a Navyist Rewards member for big discounts

Everyone who loves to shop at Old Navy should sign up for Navyist Rewards. There are two kinds of members. The free members earn 1 point for every $1 spent at Old Navy. Free members get special discounts and coupons sent to their inbox.

You start with the Core membership. If you spend more than $500 in a year at Old Navy, you upgrade to Enthusiast membership. If you spend more than $1000 you will upgrade to Icon membership. You get bigger bonus points and perks for every tier you upgrade to.

Every 100 points becomes $1 in rewards. Cash in these rewards online and in-store.

  1. Become a Navyist Rewards cardmember for bigger discounts

If you apply for the Old Navy credit card, you earn 5 points for every $1 you spend. There are special benefits for Navyist cardmembers that are not available to free members. You start at Enthusiast as standard.

  1. Earn and spend Old Navy Super Cash

Another rewards program at Old Navy is Super Cash. You earn Super Cash on qualifying purchases and can use these special discounts on purchases over the minimum purchase requirement.

  1. Shop online for better deals and coupons

When it comes to getting the best deals, always shop online. The same items are at a better price online than they are in-store. The deals, discounts, and coupons are better online than in-store.

  1. Spend at least $50 for free shipping

You get free shipping if you spend more than $50 after promotions. If your order is under that limit, you can send your order to your local store for free. You may even be able to get free Curbside delivery if your local Old Navy offers it.

  1. Shop the mid and end of season sales

Sales come with big discounts and great clearance items. Old Navy has Daily Deals, mid-season sales, end-of-season sales, Black Friday sales, and more.

  • Spring sales: April 15 – June 1.
  • Summer sales: July 15 – September 1.
  • Fall sales: October 15 – December 1.
  • Winter sales: January 15 – March 1.

Generally speaking, you can expect new stock to start going on sale between 4 to 6 weeks after it is first available to buy. If you want the best deals, wait for the extra clearance discounts. You can often take an additional 15% to 35% off clearance items to bring down the price of your order.

  1. Spot final clearances

Items in clearance that end in $0.47, $0.49 and $0.97 are at their final discount. The price will not go down further. Save more during the additional discount sales on clearance items.

For example, an item on sale in the clearance section for $5.47 will not go down further. This is the best sale price you will get before coupons. Look for these price codes to help you find the best deals.

  1. Price adjustment policy at Old Navy

If an item you purchase goes on sale, you can get the difference back thanks to Old Navy’s Price Adjustment policy. This policy does not include items you bought with coupons or other promotions.
